Interview with Aaron Estes of Season 1, Episode 8 of Catfish
Thanks Aaron (who appeared in Season 1, Episode 8 of Catfish the TV Show) for taking the time to respond to our mini-questionnaire with such great, honest answers.
Q. In general, how was your experience appearing on Catfish?
A. The experience on Catfish was hard but it helped me learn a lot about me and others. I was happy I got to meet Tyler and I wish we still did talk. I miss him a lot sometimes.
Q. If you had it to do over, would you still appear on the show?
A. I would still appear on the show if I could do it over. It was great exposure.
Q. How has your life been impacted or changed by the show? (positively or negatively)
A. My life is very different. A lot of people know who I am which is crazy and I am in contact to appear on a very popular show but I cannot say just yet.
Q. What's new in your life since the show or what are you doing now?
A. I have been working on my book, Species Zero:Incubus which will be out in May as well as acting and getting ready for my role on the tv show.
Q. What tips or warnings do you have for others in online relationships?
A. My biggest tips for people in online relationships that ARE the catfish is to think about how it may hurt you when the person you are talking to finds out about you. I know it is selfish but I think a lot less people would Catfish if they knew the pain it caused to the person you love.
Q. Is there anything else you'd like to tell your Catfish fans?
A. I would like to tell everybody thank you so much for all the positive AND negative comments, messages and tweets to me. I read each one and really do take in what people say. Everyday is a journey but all you have to do is keep going because in the end it's up to you to make you happy. It is not a tv show or Nev or Max, it is YOU.
